Lightning Capital Launches $100M AI Ripple Effect Fund

Lightning Capital has announced the establishment of a $100 million early-stage fund named the "AI Ripple Effect" fund. According to Foresight News, the fund aims to invest in startups that focus on the secondary impacts of AI transitioning from experimental to practical applications, affecting industries, infrastructure, and work methodologies. Michele Griffin, a former partner at Andreessen Horowitz, has been appointed as the fund's managing partner and COO. The fund plans to invest in 10 to 15 companies, with individual investments ranging from $1 million to $5 million. It will target companies in the seed to Series A funding stages. Additionally, the fund will offer secondary market and cash management strategies, providing flexible liquidity options for family offices and corporate investors.
