Uniswap Founder Hayden Adams Discusses Future of Decentralized Currency

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams recently shared his perspective on the phrase "ETH is money," suggesting that while it is accurate, its meaning differs from common interpretations. According to ChainCatcher, Adams envisions a future where all assets are tokenized, allowing users to hold assets they value most. This would lead to a decentralized monetary system with multiple competing currencies, eliminating the need for a single unit of account, as long as there is a low-cost, efficient mechanism for asset exchange available around the clock. Adams highlighted that Uniswap, operating on Ethereum, currently represents the "best decentralized monetary system." He noted that the field is still in its early stages. His comments were made in the context of a discussion involving David Hoffman, co-founder of Bankless, who had previously announced the sale of ETH.
