JPMorgan's Kinexys Blockchain Platform Surpasses $1.5 Trillion in Transactions

JPMorgan's blockchain platform, Kinexys, has processed over $1.5 trillion in transactions since its launch in 2020, with daily transaction volumes exceeding $2 billion. According to Odaily, the financial institution applied in May 2026 to launch a tokenized treasury fund using Kinexys infrastructure, aiming to meet reserve asset requirements for stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. JPMorgan's 13F report for the third quarter of 2025 revealed a 64% increase in its holdings of iShares Bitcoin Trust shares, totaling 5.28 million shares valued at approximately $343 million. Additionally, Kinexys plans to collaborate with Digital Asset to introduce JPM Coin to the Canton Network in 2026, facilitating institutional deposit token settlements on public infrastructure.
