Over the past seven years, in creating content in the Web3, AI, and finance fields, the most time-consuming aspect has often not been just writing an in-depth article after conception, but rather the subsequent work of transferring the completed article to multiple platforms, fixing formatting, re-uploading images, saving drafts one by one, revising, and searching for links.

Therefore, we spent two months coding from scratch to create UniPublisher: a multi-channel content distribution OS for Web3, AI, and finance creators, project teams, and media editors.

The initial goal was very simple and direct:In a typical multi-platform workflow, an article only needs to be edited once in the main editor to adapt the format and save or publish it to 15 professional vertical and mainstream channels, reducing distribution time by more than 80%.

From basic functional planning and design to front-end control, website construction, channel integration, and back-end platform construction, and various debugging processes, I finally created one of the products I most wanted to have during my seven years of investing in cutting-edge technologies and writing about Web3 and AI.

In this rapidly evolving era of AI agent tools, to make more objective investments, it's essential to understand the entire product development process and costs. This is because the pace of the times has changed dramatically.

**AI is gradually reducing the basic technical and labor costs from idea to product prototype, but what truly determines the value of a product is still a firsthand understanding of specific industry scenarios, pain points, and workflows.** **1. Background and Industry Pain Points** As someone who enjoys researching in-depth and long-term value, creating a single in-depth article of several thousand or tens of thousands of words can take a lot of time. However, even after preparing an article, the time consumed during the subsequent publishing process is terrifying. This is especially true for authors who need to publish on multiple platforms or in highly innovative fields, where the UI code, editor logic, formatting rules, and image processing methods differ across channels, and the choice of professional terminology for the same button or function can also vary.

• After formatting on one platform, copying it to another channel might completely mess it up (e.g., missing bold lines, messed-up formatting, missing images)

• Many channels don't support copy-pasting images, so you might have to re-upload each one individually to get everything sorted out.

• Even if, like me, I have dedicated editors and colleagues at some industry media, brokerage, and exchange channels to help me with content collection, editing, and formatting,

Actually, there are some products with similar functions on the market. I have used some plugin products before, such as Jianmei, CSDN plugins, and Little Bee, but most of them focus on the basic channels of traditional social media users, such as Sohu, Tencent, NetEase, and Baijiahao. These channels have certain benefits for SEO. But for Web3, AI, and financial creators, they are not necessarily the core platforms they urgently need.

Distribution tools for Web3 and professional financial channels have long been absent from the market.

I've directly suggested this to many institutions and media outlets, but one issue is the inherent industry competition between products, and another is, as mentioned earlier, the underlying code is completely different. I've always wanted to use it, but there hasn't been a suitable product yet. Thanks to the advent of the AI ​​Agent era, Agents' coding and problem-solving abilities have significantly improved. With the cooperation and guidance of engineers, tools specifically designed for finance and Web3 creators can be truly implemented within a relatively reasonable timeframe. However, the differences between Agents themselves can be very demanding and require considerable human effort and thought. For example, Claude's rationality, Gemini's laziness and intuition, Codex's bugs and advantages, the frustration of Deepseek's inability to solve problems even after a day of aimless searching, and Workbuddy's experience of completely blacking out the K3 screen during a trial. We'll write a more detailed article about this later. The product's 1.0 phase is now complete, and I can use it quite comfortably, which includes: 15 basic channels, long and short post functionality, a consistent content creation area, and seamless integration across multiple channels: front-end, web, back-end, and cloud.

2. UniPublisher 1.0: Connecting 15 Core Channels and the Entire Creation Process

The 1.0 phase of the product is now complete, connecting front-end interaction, local storage, and cloud distribution, integrating 15 professional and mainstream channels:

Due to the needs of authors and friends, I've added a dual-channel distribution model of long articles and short posts, with optimized controls for the writing space of each. For authors who need to double-check the layout before publication, UniPublisher also supports two modes: "one-click publication" and "one-click save to channel drafts," which can improve efficiency while leaving enough room for fine-tuning and proofreading.

3. Local First: Local-First Design for Sensitive Content

For financial analysts, business report writers, and Web3 creators, the timeliness, sensitivity, and confidentiality of content are crucial. Therefore, for the long-term security of the product and user data, we have adopted an architecture primarily based on local storage to ensure user privacy and content security. Initially, we ensured that all documents and content, including user-inputted API call keys, were stored on the user's own computer, maximizing the security and privacy of user-created content. The product will connect to the corresponding platform for publishing or automatically integrate based on channel publishing requirements. The product itself does not collect user article content or privacy API keys.





If you need to switch computers for data transfer, you can easily export backups with one click and seamlessly migrate to the new device at any time.

In the future, if there are needs for team collaboration or multi-device synchronization in the cloud, we will gradually open up configurable cloud backup interfaces under the premise of security.

4. Adaptation Period and Feedback

UniPublisher 1.0 is not the end, but a beginning.

We understand that the rules, editors, and content formats of various platforms will continue to evolve, so we look forward to working with true Web3, AI, and finance creators to refine and iterate our work. **Why is feedback so important? Because initially, until 2019, Google Sheets didn't support Ctrl+V pasting for images; you had to manually upload images one by one. It was after the author provided feedback to engineers within Google that Google optimized the code, adding this convenient image pasting mode. You can also provide timely feedback within the application, and we will actively listen to valid suggestions. This is also an experimental product. UniPublisher was initially created to solve my own repetitive tasks, helping me significantly save time and improve efficiency. However, as my business and learning scope have expanded, the frequency of my long-form article updates has become more in-depth and less frequent (in 2018, I could update ADA and BTC in-depth analysis daily). Therefore, I hope it can eventually become a tool that more Web3, AI, and financial creators would genuinely want to use every day. We will gradually add more AI and Web3 additional features and experience content. We built this project for fun, and we hope it really helps someone. This experience has also reinforced my belief that while AI is reducing prototype development costs, understanding industry workflows, product judgment, and continuous testing remain irreplaceable.
