U.S. President Donald Trump just announced on Tuesday that he will purchase a "brand new Tesla" to stand in solidarity with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, against the "Radical Left Lunatics" who is trying to bring Musk down.
The multi-billionaire who was once celebrated by as one of the greatest minds of our century because of his many scientific and technological endeavors has since found himself in the centre of ridicule after Musk showed his alliance to Trump.
The mass attack of Tesla
In January, a cybertruck outside the Trump hotel was set on fire. The fire caused multiple explosions, killing one and leaving at least 7 more injured.
In Seattle, vandals set fire to a parking lot in Seattle's industrial district, which damaged four Cybertrucks. Just a day earlier, protestors gathered outside a Tesla showroom chanting
"Nobody voted for Elon Musk... Oligarchs out, democracy in."
Some owners of Tesla's pioneer electric cars have also voiced buyers' remorse over Musk's foray into politics, and his sharing of conspiracy theories online.
Unhappy Tesla owners have even slapped bumper stickers on their vehicles claiming they had purchased them "before Elon went crazy." And the list of crimes goes on and on...
Responding to these attacks, Trump has labeled all this violance against Tesla as domestic terrorism, and Trump has sworn to take all these attacks down.
"I'm going to stop them. You do it to Tesla, and you do it to any company, we're going to catch you, and you're going go through hell."
Trump also expressed his gratitude towards all the supporters who had been loyal and continued to show their support to Tesla despite all the "political agenda." Trump added
"Thank everyone out there who is supporting Tesla. It's really terrible that there's so much violance being perpetrated against people at Tesla, Tesla supporters, Tesla owners, Tesla stores. These innocent people who have done nothing wrong"
Tesla's stocks falls because of Musk's political alliance
The attack didn't stop just at physical attacks, but haters have also sought to express their dissatisfaction with Musk by boycotting Tesla and not buying its stocks.
Fearing that the boycott and buyer backlash over Musk's action and close ties with Trump has also led many Tesla investors to pull themselves out of Tesla's stocks.
As a result, Tesla shares closed down more than 15% on Monday, with the uncertainty over Trump's import tariffs adding even more fuel to the fire.
The sales of Tesla vehicles in Europe also experience a significant decline following Muks's controversial support for far-right wing groups, including Germany's AfD during the country's recent election campaign.
Tesla sales in Germany-Europe's biggest auto market-plunged more than 76% year on year in Febrary, official data showed. Overall, sales in the European Union almost halved, on year in January.
In early March, a dozen Teslas were torches at a dealership in France in what authorities treated as an arson attack. Tesla has also lost one-third of its market value since mid-December as Musk deepens his association with Trump.
Trump stands in solitude with Musk
In order to stand in solidarity with Musk, Trump has decided that he would buy himself a Tesla car to show his support to his top campaign donor and advisor.
He also openly praised and recognises Musk's effort in helping the government thus far, saying Elon Musk has put everything on the line to help the country, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!
Trump also claims that the Left are now trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla to destoy Elon's baby in order to attack and do harm to Elon and everything he stands for.
Trump then questions what the left can they gain from this campaign?
"Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN??"
In response to President's Trump's support, Musk has responded by thanking the president.
