Sinohope Technology Holdings Limited, a digital asset custody platform, and SlowMist, a blockchain security company, have announced a strategic partnership to collaborate on security-related ventures. This partnership includes active cooperation in MPC security audits, digital asset anti-money laundering (AML), Web3 threat intelligence networks, and digital asset ecosystem security. The goal is to construct a security infrastructure for the safe development of the Web3 industry in Hong Kong.
Motivation of Applying VASP
Furthermore, the collaboration will leverage the "Hong Kong VASP Application Guardian Program" launched by SINOHOPE. This initiative aims to aid institutions and enterprises seeking Hong Kong Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) licenses. SINOHOPE and SlowMist will provide consultation on compliance, security risk control, and business frameworks related to setting up a Hong Kong Trust or Company Service Provider (TCSP) license. The objective is to enable more institutions to conduct compliant digital asset and Web3 business in Hong Kong.
The Responsibilities
SlowMist, an experienced blockchain security firm, offers comprehensive security solutions such as security audits, blockchain threat intelligence (BTI), defense deployment, anti-money laundering (AML), and cryptocurrency tracking services.
SINOHOPE, a digital asset service platform, specializes in promoting compliant digital asset professional services and technology. Their proprietary Multi-Party Computation (MPC) custody services are grounded in the latest MPC-CMP protocol. Utilizing a 3-3 multi-party signature scheme, the system requires tripartite participation to finalize transaction signatures that ensure a high level of asset security.
This partnership aims to explore integration solutions for blockchain ecological security, establish industry security standards, conduct research on cutting-edge security technology, and contribute to the progress and security development of the Web3 industry.
