3. Jensen Huang and Marvell CEO Discuss: The Future of AI Isn't About Computing Power, It's About Connectivity – "Use Copper If You Can, Use Light When You Must"
On June 2nd, Murphy, CEO of optical interconnect giant Marvell, and Jensen Huang discussed the topic together. The core consensus between the two CEOs was that the next decisive battleground for AI infrastructure is not computing power, not memory, but connectivity. Jensen Huang emphasized that as AI-generated tokens enter the profit-making stage, distributed "intelligent agent" computing has ignited a huge demand for high-speed interconnects. Huang's strategic framework is straightforward: "Use copper cables where possible, and use optical components where necessary." Marvell CEO Murphy pointed out that due to physical laws, the "copper cable boundary" is shrinking towards the rack interior, and optical interconnects and CPO technologies will experience explosive growth. On the day of the conference, Marvell officially released a new 100T Ethernet switch designed specifically for AI data centers, boasting the industry's lowest power consumption, and showcased a 51.2T switch based on CPO, completely eliminating copper traces at the board level.
4. AI Technology to be Deployed for the 2026 USA-Mexico World Cup to Improve the Match Experience

3. Solana Official: Will Vigorously Promote the Construction of a Fully On-Chain Perpetual Contract Ecosystem On June 2nd, Solana officially published an article titled "Building Fully On-Chain Perpetual Contracts on Solana," stating that it will vigorously promote the construction of a fully on-chain perpetual contract (Perps) ecosystem in the future, aiming to make Solana the world's strongest on-chain financial derivatives infrastructure. Currently, the trading volume of crypto derivatives is mainly concentrated on centralized trading platforms or a hybrid model relying on off-chain matching engines, which Solana considers a transitional phase. The goal is to leverage the high-performance characteristics of blockchain to realize a truly on-chain derivatives market—where all processes, including order submission, price updates, matching, and settlement, are completed on-chain, while maintaining institutional-grade speed and low cost.
The Solana Foundation will provide funding, technical support, and resource allocation, prioritizing projects that meet the following criteria: fully on-chain execution; price discovery based on real two-sided liquidity (rather than simple liquidity pool pricing); Solana priority with revenue flowing back to the blockchain; a team with derivatives experience; and open-source core code. We also welcome contributions from frontend developers, aggregators, vault providers, market makers, and other related infrastructure.
