Building itself a solid foundation and reputation in the crypto market, Solana (SOL) is one of the most prominent blockchain networks in existence. Developing the alias “the Ethereum killer’ due to its fast transaction speed of 2,700 transactions per second and the Proof of History (PoH) consensus, Solana provides the users with cryptographically verified passage of time between two events. Essentially, Solana is an open-source project that relies on blockchain technology’s permissionless nature to permit solutions for decentralised finances (DeFi).
The blockchain officially launched in March 2020, right before the eruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. This played to Solana’s advantage, as people were shying away from using centralised bank organisations due to the value of things such as individual savings accounts dropping significantly. Chiliz (CHZ) describes itself as ‘the world’s leading blockchain fintech provider for sports and entertainment. Its distinctiveness of solely focusing on the entertainment and sports market is what makes it appeal to investors who are looking for something new. CHZ operates the blockchain sports-entertainment outlet Socios – permitting users to engage in the governance of several sports brands that appeal to them.
Chiliz (CHZ) has developed a partnership with some of the biggest names in sports organisations which include Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris-Saint Germain and A.C Milan. What makes the cryptocurrency distinct is providing a limited supply of fan tokens which are distributed on a first come first serve basis. From here, holders can vote with their fan tokens on Socios, which can take place through the use of smart contracts – a program that runs when predetermined conditions are met. With a current market capitalization of $782,820,190 according to CoinMarketCap, Chiliz has great potential to grow due to its distinct project.
June is the beginning of the summer season, and with the presale of CashFi (CFI) starting, crypto investors have a new blockchain network to experiment with. Additionally, currencies that are solidified such as Solana have a high potential to recover quickly from their decline, while Chiliz’s profit returns have a high chance of increasing due to its uniqueness, which will surely bring sporting fans to the world of crypto. Do further research before investing in any cryptocurrencies, as it is a gamble, but it is one that if successful, can be financially rewarding.
