Circle's USDC Circulation Declines by 1.3 Billion in One Week

According to PANews, official data reveals that Circle issued approximately 4.7 billion USDC and redeemed around 6 billion USDC over a seven-day period ending December 18, resulting in a circulation decrease of about 1.3 billion USDC. The total circulation of USDC stands at 77.2 billion, with reserves estimated at $77.5 billion. These reserves include approximately $53.3 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements, $14.3 billion in Treasury bills with maturities under three months, $9.2 billion in deposits with systemically important institutions, and around $700 million in other bank deposits.
