Crypto exchange Zipmex is planning a withdrawal recovery process with the ultimate goal of fully resuming customer withdrawals, CoinDesk reported citing sources. The plan is subject to a vote by Zipmex creditors, details of which have not been disclosed, and is expected to take effect around early April next year, when its creditor protection ends and Zipmex hopes to streamline the process by settling privately with customers. Foresight News previously reported that Zipmex had been approved by the Singapore court earlier this month to extend the creditor protection period until April 2023; in addition, according to people familiar with the matter, V Ventures will acquire about 90% of Zipmex’s shares at a consideration of US$100 million.
