Aptos Labs CEO Avery Ching Appointed to US CFTC Digital Asset Panel

The group was established in 1998 and consists of 36 experts from leading institutions such as Citadel, BlackRock, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, and Morgan Stanley. It aims to provide advice to the CFTC on key issues such as digital assets and promote the development of relevant policies and regulations. Avery's joining, coupled with his recent sharing in the U.S. Congress, highlights the increasingly important role of technology builders in regulatory dialogues. Avery has more than ten years of experience in building large-scale infrastructure. Before founding Aptos, he was the technical director of the Meta encryption platform, leading blockchain development, wallet infrastructure, strategy, and Diem blockchain projects, and has a deep industry background and experience.
