ZKsync: The administrator accounts of three airdrop distribution contracts were hacked, and the attacker minted about 111 million ZK tokens

Odaily Planet Daily News ZKsync posted on the X platform that after investigation, the administrator accounts of the three airdrop distribution contracts have been hacked. The attacker called the sweepUnclaimed () function and minted about 111 million unclaimed ZK tokens from the aidrop contract. This incident only involves the airdrop distribution contract. All funds that can be minted have been minted. No further attack can be exploited through this method. The ZKsync protocol, ZK token contract, all three governance contracts, and all active token program cap minters have not been affected by this incident and will not be affected. We are currently coordinating recovery work with the exchange and recommend that the attacker return the funds and avoid legal liability.
