Analysts: UK inflation declines but fiscal pressures are unlikely to change, tariffs hinder rate cuts

The UK's annual headline inflation rate fell to 2.8% in February from 3.0% in January, a slightly higher than expected decline. Flax said that the British Chancellor of the Exchequer may be somewhat relieved by the continued easing of inflation, but this modest decline will do little to ease fiscal pressure.
