Adam Back: Bitcoin's "diminishing returns" trend may break upward in the next 2-5 years

Adam Back, co-founder of Bitcoin infrastructure development company Blockstream, wrote on X: "In my opinion, if we move from a gradual transition to a sudden stage, the addition of new users will intensify the adoption effect, invalidating the halving theory of "diminishing returns" and reaching the top of the S curve, just like the $200 trillion addressable market estimated by Bitcoin pioneer and first BTC recipient Hal Finney (@halfin) in January 2009, Bitcoin's S curve may now enter a steeper period." Back added: "My guess is that the trend of diminishing returns may break upward in the next 2-5 years."
