Blockchain infrastructure company Flashbots has launched BuilderNet, a decentralized block-building network on Ethereum that aims to “eliminate censorship” and solve one of the network’s biggest “bottlenecks.”
BuilderNet launched on November 26 and is designed to allow “multiple parties to collaborate on building blocks.” It’s worth noting that in recent weeks, about 88% of Ethereum blocks have been built by Beaverbuild and Titan Builder.
Coinbase’s protocol expert Viktor Bunin said at X that this is “absolutely significant” because it will “eliminate censorship” and exclusive order flow trading on Ethereum.
Flashbots’ product manager Shea Ketsdever said that the first version of BuilderNet is now live on the Ethereum mainnet and will be available as an embedded solution for L2 decentralized ordering “later.” (Cointelegraph)
