According to Ledger Insights, the blockchain payment technology company Partior has completed the A round of financing, led by Standard Chartered Bank, and the founding shareholders JP Morgan Chase, DBS Bank and Temasek participated in the investment. The transaction amount has not been disclosed, pending regulatory approval. Singaporean startup Partior is developing a blockchain-based interbank payments network that is expected to support eight currencies: US dollar, Singapore dollar, British pound, euro, Australian dollar, Japanese yen, offshore Chinese yuan and Hong Kong dollar. Each bank is responsible for its own node on the network, and Standard Chartered will be one of the euro settlement banks.
