Bitfarms issues statement in response to Riot’s misleading remarks

Bitfarms issued a statement in response to Riot's acquisition proposal and related misleading statements, saying that the upcoming special meeting is not a corporate governance issue as Riot has repeatedly claimed, but Riot's attempt to acquire Bitfarms at a discount to benefit Riot shareholders rather than Bitfarms shareholders. Bitfarms also claimed that Riot refused to engage with it constructively, but instead took public attacks and actions to harm the interests of other Bitfarms shareholders. Bitfarms stated that the recent board and leadership changes were made independently of Riot, not for Riot's benefit and approval.
