Immunefi: $473 million in cryptocurrencies lost to hackers so far this year

According to a report provided by security service provider Immunefi, more than $473 million worth of cryptocurrency was lost in 108 hacking incidents in 2024. In May alone, $52 million was stolen, most of which was stolen from Gala Games and SonneFinance, which were hacked for $21 million and $20 million, respectively.
