CryptoQuant: Whale BTC investment amount increased to $122 billion, more than doubled from the beginning of the year

Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, disclosed data showing that throughout March, whales' Bitcoin holdings increased by more than 9.8%. In April, whales continued to increase their Bitcoin holdings, but by May 1, the pace of increase slowed to 4.2%, when the price of Bitcoin had fallen more than 20% from its high to below $57,000. As of May 22, the indicator had rebounded to 5.5%, meaning that whales' holdings began to rise again after the market bottomed out. Since the beginning of the year, the amount of Bitcoin invested by whales has more than doubled from $57 billion to $122 billion.
