Binance and Taiwan law enforcement agencies jointly cracked a fraud case involving a total amount of US$6.2 million.

Binance Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) teamed up with the Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice of Taiwan and the Taipei District Prosecutors Office to crack down on a large-scale money laundering case and cracked a virtual asset fraud case worth NT$200 million (US$6.2 million). As revealed in the official statement, this operation facilitated criminals to launder illegal proceeds through cryptocurrency transactions.
