Onyx: Users affected by previous attacks can now claim compensation

DeFi protocol Onyx posted on the X platform that the proposal to compensate users affected by the previous attack has been voted in and can be claimed immediately. Users can send an email to [email protected] to start a v1 claim. Please note: Onyx will never ask for private keys, so stay safe. Earlier in April, after further DAO and community feedback, Onyx DAO will deploy a proposal that will fully compensate all v1 users based on the amount of losses in previous security incidents at a 1:1 ratio of XCN. Last November, Onyx was hacked and lost approximately $2.1 million. In order to ensure that users affected by the attack are properly compensated, Onyx decided for the first time to use the "$40 million XCN token facility" it co-owns with LDA Capital and other institutions. Through this facility, Onyx DAO will sell XCN tokens in the DAO treasury to directly compensate Onyx Protocol for the losses caused by the attack, ensuring that affected users can get the funds they deserve.
