StakeKit Launches Self-Custodial Yield API, Powers Zerion's Earn Page

According to Blockworks, StakeKit has come out of stealth mode after 18 months of development, launching its robust self-custodial yield API. This API is now powering Zerion's newly introduced Earn page, marking a significant step towards offering users a unified platform to manage and grow their digital asset portfolio across over 13 blockchain networks directly within Zerion. StakeKit's API aggregates more than 500 yield opportunities into a single, user-friendly interface, including staking, restaking, liquid staking, yield vaults, and lending pools. Serafin Lion Engel, CEO of StakeKit, stated that the company's objective was to make earning yield in self-custodial wallets as simple as earning yield on a centralized exchange (CEX). The company has spent over 1.5 years building StakeKit and has collaborated closely with protocol teams and DeFi developers to make this a reality. Engel expressed his excitement about powering the new Earn section in Zerion and enabling users to earn yield with ultimate ease of use and without having to relinquish any self-custody. The Earn section on Zerion now allows users to stake, liquid stake, restake, and earn DeFi yields with the simplicity typically found on CEXs, but with the crucial advantage of users maintaining 100% self-custody over their funds. This integration not only simplifies access to diverse DeFi yields but also enhances user safety. Engel added that each yield contract featured on their platform is manually authenticated and integrated, which mitigates risks users would typically face if they sought yield in third-party dapps, such as phishing risks. StakeKit also allows users to delegate to members of their Preferred Validator Network, providing additional benefits like slashing protection and uptime guarantees, which protect their staked assets and ensure optimal yield generation.
