Meta lowers its Horizon Worlds monthly active user target to 280,000

According to the "Wall Street Journal" report, Meta lowered the number of monthly active users of its Metaverse social application Horizon Worlds by the end of the year from 500,000 to 280,000. According to internal memos and documents obtained by it, the current number of active users is less than 200,000, and has continued to decline since the spring of this year. A large number of users left the platform after using it for a month, and the remaining users only visited 9% metaverse scope.
