Solana Eco Telegram Trading Bot Solareum announced that it will permanently shut down due to insufficient funds and recent security breaches. The Solareum team added that while they had "worked hard to seek additional funding, adapt to market changes and strengthen security measures," they were unable to "ensure the security of their users" due to insufficient funding. In late March, the trading bot was hit by a security breach. The Solareum team said they did not conduct an exit scam and did not steal funds, but many SOLAR users had their wallets emptied. The team says this is a widespread vulnerability that also occurs in other bots and Dapps; before conclusively confirming the attack, it said it was "potentially vulnerable." The Solareum team said they have contacted authorities in the hope that the stolen funds can be frozen if they are transferred to centralized exchanges. BONKbot's logs show that each user account whose funds were stolen had previously exported their private keys. A number of non-BONKbot wallets were also stolen. Those BONKbot users who have not exported their private keys are safe. The BONKbot team is working hard to identify third-party services that may have been compromised and that users may have connected to their wallets. If a user does not export their private keys, their funds are 100% safe. BONKbot clearly states that there is no case of BONKbot funds being stolen.
