E-Communication holds approximately 8.14% of the issued share capital of virtual asset exchange VAX, equivalent to approximately HK$1.543 million

Hong Kong-listed company E-Communication Group announced its performance report as of the end of 2023. As of December 31, 2023, the company held a total of 165,385 shares of VAX, a Hong Kong Virtual Asset Exchange Co., Ltd., accounting for approximately 8.14% of the issued share capital of VAX, with a fair value of approximately 1,543,000 Hong Kong dollar. It is reported that VAX is applying to the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to obtain a Type 1 (securities trading) and Type 7 (provision of automated trading services) regulated activity license under the Securities and Futures Ordinance to regulate virtual asset trading platforms.
