Judge partially rejects Aptos CEO's motion to dismiss $1 billion lawsuit brought by investor Shari Glazer

As Cointelegraph reported, a judge has partially denied Aptos Labs CEO Mo Shaikh’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by investor Shari Glazer, who claimed that he was defrauded of a sizable stake as an early potential investor. "The claims in Shari Glazer's lawsuit are baseless. In this ruling, most of Glazer's claims are dismissed outright," an Aptos spokesman said. The court struck out fraud and three other legal claims, according to court records released Oct. 10. claims, while three others were allowed to proceed, notably breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and Glazer's so-called 50% right to Matonee (parent company Aptos Labs). Glazer and her firm, Swoon Capital, have been fighting to receive up to $1 billion in funding from Matonee, according to a complaint filed in New York State Supreme Court in March. Glazer and Swoon Capital allege that Shaikh deprived her of her fair share of the blockchain technology venture partnership.
