DeFi risk management company Gauntlet announces it will cease cooperation with Aave

According to the Aave Governance Forum, DeFi risk management company Gauntlet announced that it will stop working with Aave. Gauntlet will terminate the payment stream as soon as possible and work with other contributors to find a replacement for the risk manager. John Morrow, COO and co-founder of Gauntlet, said: "Over the past year, we have found it difficult to deal with inconsistent guidelines and unwritten goals from our largest stakeholders. Due to all of this, there is no better place to continue Gauntlet's mission. It's somewhere else." It is reported that Gauntlet has served as the independent risk manager of Aave DAO since 2020. During this time, the company is responsible for monitoring risks in the Aave lending market, such as liquidation risk, deployment on new blockchains, and accepting new assets as collateral.
