Cleanspark expands Bitcoin mining operations to Mississippi with $19.8 million acquisition

Mining company Cleanspark has announced that it will acquire three Bitcoin mining farms for $19.8 million, expanding its operations into Mississippi. Cleanspark said the acquisition, which is expected to close within 21 days, will add approximately 2.4 EH/s of computing power to the Mississippi data centers. Additionally, Cleanspark acquired a mine under construction in Dalton, Georgia. The deal involves an initial cash payment of $3.4 million, with plans to invest an additional $3.5 million, with an operational date for the mine in April 2024.
