Inception Capital completes $30 million in first fund raising

According to official news, Inception Capital (formerly known as OP Crypto) announced that its first fund of funds, Inception FOF I LP, has completed fundraising with a scale of US$30 million. The fund focuses on emerging fund managers in the cryptocurrency space and has received support from investors such as Mirana, FJ Labs, Serafund, and multiple family offices. The Inception FoF I LP team has previously invested in more than 30 companies through Inception Ventures Fund I LP, including Scroll Tech, Celestia, Avalancheh and Merit Circle, etc. It is reported that Inception Capital’s Ventures Fund I LP was established in June 2021. It is a venture capital fund focusing on early-stage blockchain entrepreneurship. The fund raised a total of US$50 million and received investments including Animoca, Galaxy Vision Hill, Digital Investments from well-known institutions including Currency Group, Bybit and Huobi are also supported by well-known individual investors such as Bill Ackman, Garry Tan, Sandeep Nailwal and Alan Howard.
