Michael Bentley, co-founder of DeFi lending protocol Euler Finance, disclosed that his personal crypto wallet malfunctioned in November last year and subsequently lost the private keys needed to recover funds. Bentley owns approximately 120,000 EUL tokens, representing 4.4% of the total token supply, which means he lost $3.8 million at today’s prices. Bentley said: “I have now lost a significant portion of the crypto assets I held in cold wallets, accumulated over seven years, including most of the EUL tokens allocated to me for participation in Euler governance. ."
