According to official news from ZKFair, the Gas fee Airdrop activity launched today was due to too many community participants and a few addresses with unusually frequent transactions. The nodes were attacked by a few IP addresses. Therefore, ZKFair announced the suspension of the Gas fee Airdrop activity. Today Gas fees consumed by users between 11:00 and 13:00 (UTC +8) will be fully refunded to the original address.
In order to ensure fair participation of community users, the team has adjusted the Gas fee Airdrop rules in a timely manner, and all ZKF token Gas fee Airdrop activities will be reopened tomorrow. At the same time, the server capacity is expanded to provide users with a better experience.
The specific plans are as follows:
1) All ZKF produced today will be put back into the pool after the gas fee refund is completed;
2) The event will restart tomorrow, and the total amount of Gas fee Airdrop will still be 7.5 billion ZKF;
3) After the event reopens at 11 o'clock tomorrow, the 7.5 billion ZKF token Airdrop will be carried out in 4 times, each lasting 12 hours;
4) Specifically, 25% or 1.875 billion ZKF tokens will be issued according to the proportion of Gas fee contribution every 12 hours;
5) The total gas fee is still 3 million USDC, and the excess gas fee will be refunded in proportion after the event.
