On December 18, Binance announced that its global platform and technical services had passed the System and Organizational Control (SOC) 2 Type II compliance audit. This SOC 2 Type II audit was conducted by A-LIGN, an independent third-party assessment agency. It lasted several months and conducted a comprehensive assessment of Binance’s organizational controls and practices in terms of system protection and data security. The audit results show that Binance’s control mechanism is well designed and implemented.
Binance Chief Security Officer Jimmy Su shared: “The crypto-asset industry has developed and matured rapidly in the past few years, but people’s understanding and concepts of crypto-assets have not kept up. We need industry players to work together to promote change. And Bitcoin As a market leader, Ann also recognizes that it needs to be at the forefront of industry changes. Therefore, we have invested a lot of resources and efforts to prove that the crypto-asset platform can meet or even exceed the stringent standards of the traditional regulatory industry. Successfully passed the SOC The 2 Type II audit is the latest example, and we will continue to achieve more to prove this."
