Carbon standard developed by Polygon-based carbon offset project Coorest certified by UN as new standard for CO2 offset

The Carbon Standard (CCS) developed by Coorest, a Polygon-based carbon compensation project, has been certified by the United Nations official auditor and has become a new standard for carbon dioxide compensation. It is the first Web3 initiative with an officially verified carbon standard. NFTrees is a Coorest project that creates CCO2 tokens that can be sold or used as carbon offsets by linking them to real-world trees. Coorest uses the immutability of the blockchain to enhance the transparency of the carbon compensation process, allowing anyone with a network to calculate their carbon footprint, and the generated income will be redistributed fairly to actual contributors.
