In response to a post by Bitcoin Core developer Luke Dashjr about "Inscription is using Bitcoin Core vulnerabilities to send spam to the blockchain", OKX CEO Star commented: "Will this force the Bitcoin Inscription community to migrate to src20 or Lightning Network? Taproot assets? Regardless, OKX will continue to build an ecosystem that supports Bitcoin.”
Earlier today, Bitcoin Core developer Luke Dashjr posted on the Core allows users to set additional data size limits when relaying or mining transactions. Inscription circumvents this limit by obscuring its data into program code. This vulnerability was recently fixed in Bitcoin Knots V25.1. Since going My workflow was severely disrupted at the end of the year (V24 was skipped entirely) and the fix took longer than usual. Bitcoin Core is still vulnerable in the upcoming V26 release. I can only hope it will be finalized before next year's V27 repair."
