Chain game developer Random Games announced the completion of a US$7.6 million seed round of financing, led by Resolute Ventures and Asymmetric, with participation from IGNIA, 2 Punks Capital, ID345, Polygon, and game programmer David Jones. Random Games is currently building Unioverse, a Web3 video game, where players, communities, and developers can earn on-chain rewards for participating in the game ecosystem. Random Games was founded by gaming industry luminaries Tony Harman, who has worked on development and acquisitions for Nintendo and runs several independent game studios, and Wyeth Ridgway, founder and CEO of Leviathan Games, and Wyeth Ridgway.
