Odaily Planet Daily News Japanese crypto exchange DeCurret said that a consortium composed of large banks Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Co., Ltd., Mizuho Financial Group Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Co., Ltd. will issue yen-based digital currencies by July 2024. The currency DCJPY is used for the trading and settlement of clean energy certificates.
DeCurret has released the DCJPY white paper today. DeCurret said that transactions in DCJPY will be conducted using the network launched by DeCurret, which is powered by bank deposits through blockchain technology. (Reuters)
