The merger between Hut 8 Mining and USBTC was approved by the Supreme Court of Canada, and the final transaction is expected to be completed before the end of the year

Odaily Planet Daily News The merger plan of Canadian Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 Mining and USBTC has been approved by the Supreme Court of Canada.
It is reported that the completion of the transaction still needs to meet some outstanding requirements, including the approval of USBTC shareholders. Hut 8 expects the final transaction confirming the merger and creating New Hut to be completed before the end of 2023. (Cointelegragh)
According to previous news on August 25, Hut 8 Mining Corp. announced the completion of an all-stock merger of equals transaction with the data mining company U.S. Data Mining Group. The name of the new company after the merger will be named "Hut 8 Corp.", and the company will become An entity registered in the United States. At present, "Hut 8 Corp." has submitted an amendment to the Form S-4 registration statement to the SEC. However, the completion of this transaction is still subject to regulatory approval, shareholder approval, court approval and other customary closing conditions of the transaction.
