18/09 19:22
Odaily Planet Daily News The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) is seeking public comment on proposed changes to the regulatory rules for cryptocurrency companies.
The regulator is reformulating rules for trading platforms, custodians and portfolio managers to align with those in the EU’s Market Regulation in Crypto-Assets (MiCA), and wants to require crypto-asset service providers to have “orderly plans” in place.
Malta, like countries like France, has a relatively mature legal system that complies with EU norms and is home to crypto companies such as Crypto.com and OKCoin. The consultation will run until September 29. (CoinDesk)
