Beosin: CoinEx lost $52 million in hacking incident

The amount of funds previously stolen on multiple chains is as follows: ETH: $18 million; BSC: $6.2 million; XRP: $6 million; Tron: $11 million; BTC: $5.97 million; Polygon: $286,000; Solana: $2.65 million. According to previous news, CoinEx confirmed that a hacker attack had occurred. On September 12, abnormal transfers were detected in several hot wallet addresses used to store CoinEx exchange assets. Affected parties will receive 100% compensation for losses incurred as a result of this attack. To increase security, deposit and withdrawal services have been suspended and will be restored after a thorough review. CoinEx said it has identified and quarantined suspicious wallet addresses related to the hack and is actively working with affected crypto projects to develop solutions.
