Exactly Protocol: Hacking attack caused more than 7.6 million US dollars in losses, the protocol and peripheral contracts will be re-launched in September

Odaily Planet Daily News DeFi lending agreement Exactly Protocol released a post-analysis report on hacker attacks. Exactly Protocol was attacked on August 18 and lost more than $7.6 million. The root cause of the attack on the protocol is the vulnerability in the peripheral contract of DebtManager. There were two attackers involved in this attack, the main attacker got 97% of the stolen assets, and another imitator stole about 3% of the assets. The attack resulted in 117 accounts being affected, with a total loss of $7,612,038. The top 10 affected account losses accounted for 84% of the total loss, the wallet with the largest loss lost nearly 1.8 million US dollars, accounting for 23.3% of the total loss; the wallet with the second largest loss lost about 1.7 million US dollars, accounting for 22.19% of the total loss . Exactly Protocol stated that it will cooperate with ABDK to conduct a formal audit of all protocols and peripheral contracts used in its Web App. The protocol has been audited and relevant functions will be reintroduced in September.
