Robinhood, a stock and cryptocurrency trading platform, announced its financial data for the second quarter of 2022: revenue increased by 6% to US$318 million; transaction-based revenue decreased by 7% to US$202 million, of which cryptocurrency trading revenue increased by 7% to $58 million. Assets under custody (AUC) fell 31% quarter-over-quarter to $64.2 billion, primarily driven by lower asset valuations in the market. In the second half of this year, Robinhood plans to further enhance the customer experience by introducing charting and filtering tools, improving the core trading process, and launching retirement accounts. And plans to launch a cryptocurrency non-custodial wallet later this year.
