The Shibarium team may have difficulty recovering bridge assets, and the Shibarium RPC website has been shut down

Odaily Planet Daily News Screenshots of internal Telegram conversations between Shibarium developers show that lead developer Shytoshi Kusama revealed that the team was unable to recover assets bridged to the Shibarium network. On-chain sleuth ZachXBT said he has yet to confirm whether the assets are actually lost, but noted that RPC (nodes that run key blockchain client software) has gone down and called block explorer Shibarium Scan "terrible." Another screenshot shows a Shibarium user experiencing technical issues with the block explorer, saying they were unable to query bridge balances via RPC. Community members believe this may indicate a flaw in the cross-chain bridge, with a total of nearly $2.46 million in locked funds, including $1.7 million worth of Ethereum and $762,000 worth of Shibarium governance token BONE. After querying the Shibarium Scan block browser, the Shibarium network resumed block generation 50 minutes ago after stopping block generation for 8 hours, and stopped block generation 27 minutes ago.
