Odaily Planet Daily News According to traders’ chat records on the social media application X (formerly Twitter), a token named after Coinbase founder Brian Armstrong’s cat is quickly becoming a popular Meme coin on the upcoming Base chain.
Armstrong revealed his pet's name in a podcast last year, saying it was a derivative of bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. His other cat's name is Mochi. While this may sound absurd, traders are pouring large sums of money into the toshi (TOSHI) token. In the past 24 hours, traders have traded approximately $10 million worth of Meme coins on SushiSwap, a decentralized exchange on the Base network, and provided trading pairs with more than $1 million in ETH liquidity.
