Media: Justin Sun is no longer Grenada’s ambassador

According to the Grenada Broadcasting Network, Tron founder Justin Sun is no longer Grenada’s ambassador. Sometime after the elections to be held in June 2022, Justin Sun was stripped of his ambassadorship due to the ouster of the New Nationalist Party, which had given him the post, by the National Democratic Congress. In late March, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally charged Justin Sun, founder of Tron and member of Huobi Global Advisory Committee, and his three wholly-owned companies, Tron Foundation, BitTorrent Foundation and BitTorrent, for suspected illegal Sale of unregistered securities, fraud and market manipulation. In response, Justin Sun responded that the US SEC’s allegations were groundless.
