The Ethereum-based Layer 2 network OKBC testnet has been officially launched, and users can receive testnet OKB through the OKX Web3 wallet for experience. OKBC focuses on improving security and achieving seamless integration, supports decentralized product deployment, is 100% compatible with EVM and Cosmos, and provides reliable smart contract audit services. According to the previously released OKBC development roadmap, OKBC will implement the Ethereum expansion solution in three steps. V1 is the Ethereum PoA sidechain, which focuses on providing high performance and low transaction fees; V2 is upgraded to Ethereum’s native ZK Rollup platform, which greatly improves Scalability and efficiency; V3 opens up cross-chain communication between ZK Rollups, uses OKB as a link, and provides users with a Web3 experience similar to Web2.
