MakerDAO tweeted that it is establishing a partnership with Huntingdon Valley Bank (HVBank), an American bank founded in 1871. This integration involves 100 million DAI participating facilities to support the development of HVBank's existing and new businesses. There will be no lending relationship between HVBank and RWA Master Participation Trust (established for the benefit of Maker). The trust will receive DAI liquidity in exchange for participating interest in the sale of all underlying loans originating from HVBank. According to BUCKSCO.Today, Huntingdon Valley Bank stated that through this partnership, the bank can increase the legal loan limit and can provide twice as much loans to borrowers without diluting existing shareholders through capital increases. In July, MakerDAO approved the proposal to open a Vault with real assets as collateral for Huntingdon Valley Bank. The current debt limit is US$100 million, which will increase to US$1 billion in the next 12 months. MakerDAO Bank Participation Trust will jointly Manage the bank's loan assets.
