According to Bloomberg, CryptoSpend, an Australian digital asset payment service startup, is seeking to complete a Series A round of A$5 million (approximately US$3.5 million) at a valuation of A$45 million (approximately US$31.25 million) in the next two months. Its Lianchuang Richard Voice said that the goal of this round of financing is to increase the company's valuation by about 4 times, and plans to launch in New Zealand this year. CryptoSpend will launch the first Australian local encrypted Visa card by the end of 2021, allowing users to spend cryptocurrencies. Revenue has grown sixfold since the second quarter of last year, and it now has a customer base of about 17,000, the company said.
