A truck carrying a $11.4 million Nvidia shipment, along with its driver, disappeared while transporting the goods from Oakland, California, to Fort Worth, Texas.
According to Sina Finance, Oakland police said on November 4 that the shipment consisted of six pallets of Nvidia chips and related hardware, picked up in Oakland on August 29 by a truck bearing a food transport company’s logo. The truck made several stops lasting hours as it traveled south, and police lost track of it in San Bernardino County, California.
The missing shipment was discovered in early September and reported to police. Investigators said the theft may have been carried out by an experienced theft ring. No suspects have been arrested, and the shipment’s whereabouts remain unknown.
