According to ChainCatcher citing Bitcoin.com News, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said in a November 4 post on X that pro-crypto candidates won in both parties and that 67 million Americans who use crypto—and a growing number—will not leave the United States. He said the new Congress should continue the mission of establishing clear rules and building in the U.S.
The 67 million figure comes from the National Cryptocurrency Association’s (NCA) State of Crypto Holders report, released May 13, 2026, and conducted with Harris Poll. The study found that about one-quarter of U.S. adults own crypto, up from one-fifth a year earlier. NCA President Stuart Alderoty is also Ripple’s chief legal officer.
Alderoty credited years of work by the Fairshake super PAC and grassroots advocacy groups for the election results. He said early data from Stand With Crypto showed that pro-crypto lawmakers from both parties won seats. Ripple made its third $25 million contribution to Fairshake in November 2024. Alderoty said clear rules for digital assets are not a matter of a single election cycle and that he looks forward to working with both parties.
