NGI+ has brought exposure to a $2.1 billion infrastructure fund on-chain, and Pendle has established PT, YT and LP markets around it. According to Odaily, the tokens represent exposure to traditional institutional funds and can be transferred between wallets and used in DeFi, while Reale continues to hold the underlying Partners Group fund shares.
KYC and anti-money laundering checks apply at entry and exit. Subscriptions and redemptions are handled through Reale, while the tokens can be used in composable applications in the interim. The fund allows trading once a month.
Pendle said the fund, Partners Group’s Next Generation Infrastructure fund, has $2.1 billion in assets under management. Lending and leveraged looping could be available if money markets accept NGI+ tokens as collateral. Asseto Finance has built a reusable framework for bringing additional institutional strategies on-chain.
